I have researched enzymes and this is what i found:

Human glyoxalase I. Two zinc ions that are needed for the enzyme to catalyze its reaction are shown as purple spheres, and an enzyme inhibitor called S-hexylglutathione is shown as a space-filling model, filling the two active sites.Enzymes are biomolurcules that catylis  chemical reactions. Almost all enzymes are proteins .

Nano-technology
Posted on April 29th, 2008 at 10:10 am by and

I have been researching nano-technology and this is what i found.

Nano- technology

What is it?

Nanotechnology is the engineering of functional systems at the molecular scale. Nano means extremely small. The properties of those products depend on how those atoms are arranged. If we rearrange the atoms in coal we can make diamond. If we rearrange the atoms in sand (and add a few other trace elements) we can make computer chips. If we rearrange the atoms in dirt, water and air we can make potatoes.

It’s like trying to make things out of LEGO blocks with boxing gloves on your hands

Types

Titanium dioxide is a white solid used in house paint and certain candy-coated chocolates. Titanium dioxide nanoparticles are so small that they do not reflect visible light, so they cannot be seen. They are used in sun block creams because they block harmful ultraviolet light from the Sun without appearing white on the skin.
